I do not have a good personal feeling about enabling that remote access to the dashboard. You better set up a DMZ and access it only from inside your network.

i would recomand that you enable access to your router. If your router has WOL capabilities to wake up a PC from your network. Since now you have VPN, you can Remote Desktop to that PC ( not even TeamViewer is needed). From here it’s just like you would be at home in terms of Dashboard and other stuff. As for the access to shares, simply access them from your outside PC
