Since my laptop is in my works workgroup I had to change the settings of the wdlive to join the same workgroup so that I can see the wdlive disk over the network. However since I did that, the remote control app on my iPhone is not working, since iPhones and iPads do not register on the network. Any idea on this?

I tried 3 or 4 different workgroup names – worked fine for me.
