Remote access to MyBook shares

Hi,

From within my network I can go via WD2GO back to my MyBook Live drive. Once logged on I can then access my shares.

However, when I try to access the shares from another location (over the Internet) I get as far as the picture of the MyBook Live, but it will not go further to display the available shares. Mainly I get a page can not be displayed message.

The Dashboard status shows that Port forwarding is working.

Any ideas please?

I solved removing security protection from Internet explorer settings.

My current Internet security settings are Medium-High - What have you set yours to please?

If you have removed security completely, are you not leaving yourself vulnerable?

You can turn the security off only for the first time.then it will work
