Registration after HDD replacement

You have just replaced a 6TB WD Red Pro for me under warranty. Do I have to register the replacement disk?

Hello athomas2,

As each WD device has different Serial Number which needs to register individually. However, warranty will be updated and will become the same warranty as damage device had warranty before replacement.
