I am trying to reconnect to my My Book Live Duo and when I try to log in as the registered user it fails. I have tried to reset the unit and log in both with my user name and/or “admin” leaving the password blank. I cannot get it to successfully connect.

I would suggest you to change the Ethernet cable and check the network connection.
