We just hooked up our 3rd (yes we already had 2) WD Live unit that we purchased from WD as a refurb and the remote does not work. the infrared transmitter is a litle bulb as opposed to the black plastic front like our other 2 have. anyway, the remote does not work, at all. we tried new batteries and nothing. the system boots, detects new firmware and not a single button on the remote makes the thing respond. what can we do here?
Ask customor service for a replacement remote?
And use the remote from one of the other 2 until the new one arrives?
does customer service patrol these forums? i am currently using the other remote for this unit, thats not the issue. i would however like to get a quick message to customer support for a replacement remote
