Hello everyone.

Few weeks ago I had a problem with the HDD of mycloud, the WD Red Nas Hard drive.

So i opened my cloud, I used the HDD like an internal disk and I formatted it as NTFS.

Then I am trying again to use it with the external wd mycloud, but Red Led always appears.

The format process is always successful.

I don’t know what to do. I would like to use it as a cloud… Thanks a lot my friends.

If you pulled the drive out of the my Cloud and reformatted it or removed the existing partitions then to use the drive in the my Cloud enclosure again you would have to follow one of the many debricking guides that have been posted to this forum. Use the forum search feature and search for “debricking”
