Recovering Data from a Dropped 2TB WD Elements

Dear All,

My 2TB WD Elements (USB 3) was accidentally dropped yesterday. Each time I try to plug it into my computer it beeps for approximately a minute but unfortunately no documents show up on My computer. The light still works on it.

Unfortunately, I am living in the remote village in West Africa and am unable to get the appropriate professional support. I would be grateful if there is any advice on how I can at least attempt to recover the data on the drive.

Dropped drives are frequently physically damaged and beyond do it yourslef recovery.

getting hard drive recovered with dead heads without the specialized lab can be a very hard thing to do my friend. Unfortunatelly, if your data is important you would need to find a way to send it there for repair.
