The original PC that this MY Book Live drive was backing up crashed and I replaced it, I am trying to recover some of the files but when I try to retrieve these file smartware does not show this volume in the retrieve folder can anyone help.
Hello there, did you use the Smartware to backup your computer?, if so, you can try to manually access the Smartware share and manually retrieving them.
Using a windows PC, go Windows Exporer, Network, MBL, then in the folder structure. Find the files, and transfer over.
