Recording or timeshifting directly on my NAS?

I’m very interesting by the WD TV Live, but I need a functionality which does not appear in the documentation: Can I with the WD TV Live record ot timeshift directly on my NAS (via Ethernet) ?

If it’s OK, I buy it imédiatly !!!

No, the WDTV’s only do PLAYBACK, not recording.
