I used to watch movies with usb stick attached to wd tv , recently i tried to share a folder on computer (win 7) and watch directly so that i can avoid copying. Problem that i found annoying is that i lose that “viewed” icon that appears next to the title name when you watch something.
on usb stick wd tv creates a folder probably to keep track of that stuff, but i cant see one on the shared folder.
Is there anything i can do to fix it?
Enable Media Library. Also make sure that your share is read/writable by the account you’re using on the WD TV to access it.
share is already on reaad/write. media library on wdtv or in windows?
oh i did it. there is special option for network share library in wdtv menu.
