Received my RMA drive and it broke after updating i think

Got my new drive via RMA, it worked (updated it etc to xx46 firmware) and after copying everything back to the replacement drive i lost it. No network connection from the drive, tried reseting using the button, but not much luck. router has no IP for it either, also tried direct connection but that hasnt worked, just a green flashing light.

Now i was coping the timemachine files back to the drive time machine folder. I was using win7 to do so would this affect anything, as this is the last thing i was doing?

Just a green blinking light, anyone any ideas on getting the drive back on the network without breaking warranty?
