I suspect that my My Book Live Duo (MBLD) 4TB is infected bij Ransomware, I don’t know which. But I also suspect that just a part of the files is encrypted, because i sill could open a lot of files. Now I have got the hard drives out of the MBLD device. I understand that the MBLD ecnrypts files itself too. When I tried to look at the files via a hard drive docking station, indeed I did not get a clue of what I saw.
Is there a way to read the hard drives without using the MBLD device itself? So that I can copy the files to my laptop (a very well protected one)?
