Read failure using SMART diagnostic tool

Hi all,

I have a 2GB World Edition white lights and I have run the SMART diagnostic tool on it. The disk passes the diagnostic but when I run the tests ‘short’ or ‘long’, I get some errors (read failure):

SMART Self-test log structure revision number 1

Num  Test_Description    Status                  Remaining  LifeTime(hours)  LBA_of_first_error

# 1  Extended offline    Completed: read failure     90%      2824         469794744

# 2  Short offline       Completed: read failure     90%      2823         469794744

This is the log of the SMART tool:

What can I do ?

Thanks

Make sure the data gets backed up to another drive and monitor this behavior

it might be time to replace

This unit has been replaced three month ago. Moreover, it is a single drive unit (no RAID capability).
There is a way to repair these issues instead of replacing the unit?
Thanks
