This is totally insane. My drive is locked and I cannot download the smartware software. I can sure as hell download the software update but it does nothing for me without the smartware software. Stupid on so many levels.
Is the WD smartware software so incredibly coveted that I cannot just download it?
Everything worked fine until i updated the firmware. Now, I am screwed.
