Your box most probably suffers from firmware bugs like most of ours too. – If you browse this forum you will soon find out that MyCloud foud months after product launch still has a lot of nasty firmware bugs. I do not think that it can be used as a reliable storage device and that it might well take 4 months more before that changes.
