I need to format my new drive, currently for MAC, to Windows format. I have 2 PCs I am hoping to be able to use with it. One is running Windows 7 Professional and the other Windows 10. Do I download the format instructions for Windows 7 or 10? Do I have to choose one machine only, or can I connect to both?

You can use either OS to do the formatting for you. Windows 10 might be the easiest to work with but the process is nearly identical in both versions.
