Re: Drives initiated and formatted with eSata port not recognized via new eSata card

I always get the windows blue screen crash with my WD 3TB RED drive connected…

I am at lost on how to fix it… I use Windows 7 Ultimate for the OS.

Any help to solve my problem ??  thanks…Dan

Is the Red a System or Data drive? What motherboard and controller are involved? If it is a brand-name computer, what brand and model? If this is not the system drive, does the system boot when the Red drive is not connected?

Just a suggestion- it would probably be better if you started a new thread with an appropriate Subject line. There is more chance that your question will go unnoticed buried in a thread on a different topic. I will keep an eye out for your thread if you start fresh. The questions above would help in diagnosing your problem.
