RDX attached to USB

I want to connect my USB 3.0 RDX drive to the USB port of my PR4100 and use it as the share for server backups.

When I connect it, the share shows up automatically (yay), but does not eject the drive (boo) when the eject button is pressed. Though I can map the share and perform file operations normally, there is no way in Windows Explorer I can find to format (or eject) the drive.

Is is possible to connect and use a removable media USB drive bay and format, eject, and perform other drive operations?

You’ll need to eject the USB drive using the Eject Option from the Dashboard of the My Cloud.
