Ratings System not working?

Ok, ratings system does not seem to work, when I select a flle whether it be a mp3 or avi I hit options and it does not give me the option to rate the content? any idea why this might be happening, also when I hit options at the home screen (per the user guide instructions) nothing happens.

It’s driving me nuts! If anyone knows why this might be happening please post.

When I select options I get the following resuts:

Music file

Play Mode

Delete.

Video file

Move

Copy

Delete

Upload to Facebook

Select Multiple

It looks to me that you either:

  1-  Don’t have MEDIA LIBRARY enabled

  2-  Haven’t let the Media Library finish compiling before navigating into the files.

 when I hit options at the home screen (per the user guide instructions) 

Where does it say this?  I need to see that in context.
