if i watch a show from the portable hard drive connected through a usb port. then go back to it it is gone. it seems to randomly delete files after i watch them. sometimes it will be all the files in a folder…i.e watch one episode of a season go back to watch the second episode, and it and all others are gone. i have turned off the media library, and reset the unit. i do frquently disconnect the hard drive to transfer more files from PC to the hard drive, but i always eject it.
any help would be appreciated, as i am ready to move on, and at this point will not be buying WD.
