Ran HDTune. Strange big numbers. Sould I worry?

Just ran HDTune on my OS drive, and got some pretty big “Data” numbers for Raw Read Error Rate, Seek Error Rate, and Hardware ECC Recovered, and they seemed to go up at an alarming rate as I watched. The drive says it’s “OK” though. Should I worry?

You should only worry if the drive’s label says “Western Digital”.

Best laugh I’ve had in a while.

Hey! Get that Seagate out of here! :smileyvery-happy:

If you repost your question to Seagate’s forums, I can help you with it there. In short, the values of those three attributes are normal and good for a Seagate drive, but disastrous for a Western Digital.
