RAID Volumes

I’m planning to use this drive (4TB) largely in a JBOD setup but still want to use RAID (0/1) functionality for certain volumes. Will I be able to create RAID volumes flexibly? For example can I create a 100GB RAID 0, 200GB RAID 1 and 50GB JBOD volume on EX2? Pls help

The answer is “Yes” and “No.”  :)

YES:  You can create a single RAID volume, and specify the size of the volume.

The remaining space will be configured as JBOD.

NO:   You cannot create volumes with that level of granularity at all.

Thanks for the info. It would have been nice had they made RAID volumes that flexible.
