Raid 10 not showing up

I’m running two wdsharespaces (2TB) on my network. In both of them I installed four 2TB HD’s in each. For some reason one of my wdsharespace gives me an option for raid 10 but the other wdsharespaces only shows up to raid 5. Any idea why its not giving me the option for raid 10?

The first thing to check is your firmware. Let me know the firmware revision in each one.

You can do this by logging into the web interface for each ShareSpace (you can use the WD Discovery tool for this) and then clicking “Advanced Mode” and then clicking on “Update”. Don’t actually upgrade anything yet. Well, you can if you like but make sure you have backups of everything first.

The WDsharespace that raid 10 doesn’t show up has FW 2.1.96.

Thank you! Can you let me know what firmware the working ShareSpace drives are running, and the model number for each drive in the non-working ShareSpace?
