Hi,
I have created an user1. i have assigned 2MB quota size to user1. now i am connected as user1 but i can still copy 10 MB file. I thought that it will not copy as maximum space allocated to this user is 2MB.
Why its not working any clue?
Thanks

Welcome to the Community.
Have you been able to test if this is the only user able to bypass the established quota parameters or if all Users can breach the limit?
Its for all users. I have different users. what next i have tried is to create a group. And all the member of this group should get 50 MB. then I logged in with one of the user and upload 100MB file which was successfully uploaded.
I used wd my cloud for desktop, mobile and also via network share all has same behaviour
Why the quota is not respected?
Thanks
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

It would be nice to know if this happens only when you transfer files from the WD App or also when you access the device directly on the network ( iscsi, mapped drive, \IP )
HI,
WD app and network both has same behaviour
