I had a Passport that failed on me and I lost everything that I had stored there.

Note: It wasn’t a backup, it was just being used as storage.

Now I have some files that I want to preserve but are too large to copy to CD’s.

Should I purchase another Passport, or should I purchase 2 more Passports?

I was told during my last issue that a backup should be in 2 differant places.

So my question is, should I buy 1 or 2 more Passports?

I would buy 2 drives and would get powered drives instead of USB powered drives. If you don’t intend to use the Smartware get an Element. It’s a plain plug and play drive. Another alternative would be a service like Carbonite as a backup.
