I have a Sandisk flash drive of 16 GB. It has a total of about 700 MB of files.
I know that flash drives can be reliable. I read online about wear-leveling on SSDs. The way that I understand it is that the data is spread across the entire capacity of the SSD.
Does that mean that an 8 TB SSD has more “area” to spread the data than a 1 TB SSD? Does that mean that an 8 TB SSD will last longer than a 1 TB SSD?
