Questions about the N600 / N750 / N900

i just got myself a wdtv live. What do the N600 / N750 / N900 do specifically?  I already have the wdtv live connected to a motorolla router that time warner gave us for high speed internet.

I have a second wdtv live upstairs where i use that one specifically to stream my movies from downstairs. If i were to add one of these new routers, would it boost the streaming? please help me understand better. which one would be best for me?

im on my motorola router set-up page. its currently set to 2.4GHZ. If i increase it to 5GHZ, will that help? its a wireless N.

Only if the client adapter supports 5 GHz…  “N” isn’t enough to indicate whether or not that’s possible.  N is supported in both 2.4 and 5 GHz.
