Question to WD: Is there a possibility of having a new firmware...?

I may be not wrong if I say that all WD Elements Play users are utterly disappointed with this device. There are some issues that are SO easily solvable (for example, applying shadows to subtitles) that I cannot conceive how WD are not working on a new firmware to correct them. 

We still don’t know if this device is 24fps compatible, and if it there’s a chance to have this option some day in our WDEP. 1080p playback is pretty unusable in most cases, with audio or image corruption/freezing.

I seriously think that we deserve some explanation from WD about these issues; so far not a simple word from them. Just a firmware with little improvements. This is not the way to treat your customers, WD.

A pissed off customer, and if this situation don’t change, soon an ex-customer.

 Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. I’m pretty sure thay can answer all your questions. You can do so either by phone or email.
