Question regarding Limited Warranty

Hello,

I work at a local small reseller and repair facility and we purchase WD hard drives from various online retailers for resell.  Are the warranties good from the date that WE the business purchase it or from when the END USER purchases the drive?  From what I understood, I thought the warranty began at time of END USER purchase.

The warranty starts from the day the end user purchases the drive.

If the warranty is not correct it can be updated in our website.

The end user (customer) will also need to show proof of purchase for the date that they bought the drive.
