Question on external backup failure

I have my EX2 in the office set to back up to my home office nightly at 1am.
It appears to be doing so as the latest files are on the home unit however I get this message every night:
Following events are generated on your MyCloudEX2Ultra .

Event title:Remote Backup Error

Event description:An error occurred for the remote backup job named xxxxxxExternal. Please check the backup job detail.

Severity:warning

Event code:1400

Event time:04-01-2017 01:00:10 AM

Firmware version: 2.21.126

Now both units are set for power saving mode so my assumption is that when the office unit calls the home unit it takes long enough for the home unit to spin up that the warning gets generated before the backup takes place. Is my assumption correct or am I possibly missing data from that backup?

Thanks

The backup process can be interrupted when the destination is not available at the time the backup job is set to begin. Try disabling sleep/power savings for testing purposes. If you still experience the same problem then I’d recommend contacting WD Support for assistance.

Yeah, disabling didn’t stop the error message after 2 nights. Must be another issue.
Thanks

A small snip, it all looks the same. It appears user [nobody] connects and transfers the back up but Authentication for user [David] has FAILED
I’m not sure if something is getting missed due to that error. Any ideas on how I fix that error? Seems like it should be simple enough to authorize.
