Question of label, heat, and dissipation

Hello all,
First time with an ssd let alone m.2, I have the msi x370 motherboard, it has a m.2 sheild to assist in heat dissipation, should I leave the wd label on the ssd, will the label cause excess heat or reduce dissipation?
I have a 500gb blue 3d nand sata m.2 2280.

you should not remove the label from an SSD. removing labels may void the warranty.
