The WD ReadyView cameras do not have a microphone.
I think we see these options because it allows the software to work with many different cameras even though the WD 2 and 4 MB cameras don’t have sound. They are still great cameras!
Lame. I feel like I saw a specification sheet that indicated these cameras do in fact have a microphone, but I think I just made a stupid inpulse buy on a Reolink on an amazon “todays deal” RLC-410-5MP. I didn’t verify if it is OVINF compatible, after a quick search. Looks like it is. Plus it looks like it records audio.
