I have a 2019 iMac. Connected to the computer is a new Thunderbolt 3 G-tech Raid, two drives, 6TB each (12TB) and operating as independent drives. Daisy chained to the Raid is a new g-tech 6TB Thunderbolt 3 drive.
The G-tech drives are plugged into an APC surge protector. Also, plugged into the surge protector is another drive that connects to the computer via USB-C.
One or two times a week I get a message on the computer that the Raid was not properly ejected. The external drive that is daisy chained shows up on the desk top as well as the other non G-tech drive.
G-tech has replaced the Raid once and still have the same issue.
What is causing this issue and how can I keep this from happening?
