My PW to unlock my passport hd says it’s invalid. It worked fine yesterday. I could even unlock by clicking the we unlocker in the folder. Now that’s not even working. What options do I have other than deleting my files to be able to open the he?

If it gives the option of hint question then you can unlock it using the correct answer.
If you had attempted to unlock the drive with wrong password many times then i suggest you to wait for a while and then try to unlock it with the correct password. There are times when user unknowingly enter wrong password for unlocking the drive and due to which drives auto-locking mode gets activated.
