I seem to be having a massive issue with my CCtv HD reading the hard drive. I’ve bought a new system that’s works apart from the hard drive not working. I’ve got 2 new Purple hard drives both will not work in the new system, but will work in the old one. so I complained and they sent me out a brand new replacement. only does the same thing. is there something I can do to make the new hard drives work. it keeps saying read only. is there a tab or something ???
You can try contacting your CCTV manufacturer to know about the compatible file format that it can support to make the drive read/write accessible with the CCTV DVR box.
Already done this and the y assure me it should work no problems.
