Publis Access switch is disabled

The other night, I suddenly could not access my device remotely.

After checking it i found that the Public Access switch is greyed out.

I already tried restarting the device and my router but it did not fix the problem.

Does anyone else here experienced the same problem? How can this be fixed?

They are having problems with the remote access that goes through WD servers at the moment. I don’t think this has anything to do with the public access swtich being greyed out at all…

I am unable to see your photo since it hasn’t been approved by the moderators, but if it is greyed out with the switch set at ON for the Public Share (meaning that the shares are public), then this is normal.
