Public share size is limited to c: drive size

I have he same issue as described in

I have tried the solution to disable the WebClient Service.

But in this situation I can’t connect to the WD drive (Open in Explorer). It shows the message “The Network name can not be found”.

The other thread talks about CIFS, but it is not clear to me.

So what services/protocols have to be enabled to get connected to the MBL dirve withits full capacity ?

If NetBIOS name lookups are not working, you’ll need to fix that.  Google is your friend.

If not, then map it by IP address instead.

\ip-address-of-your-mbl\Sharename

Example:

\192.168.1.50\Public
