PS3 cant access custom shares...only default

Hey really need help with this guys.

I have my NAS running and made some custom shares on the drive.  I have even made them public shares as I couldnt find anywhere on my PS3 to enter a username and password for network access.

So I have my custom shares that have data stored on them.  They have public access, just my PS3 only sees the share named Public/ Music, Public/ Pictures and Public/ Videos…

Why wont it find my custom share that I have named Music and the 20gig of files in that?

I also turn this twonky server on, but it says 0 files…why isnt it picking up my custom shares and scanning them?

The only **bleep** thing I can get to work is FTP access…

Really need some help on this,

Thanks!!!

Twonky won’t pick up the custom shares.  It will only see the public shares.

Thanks for the reply. So the only way I could get this to function would be to duplicate all my files on the NAS by putting them under the public share. Can I do any manual modifications to the NAS via ssh to add the folders?

If you have FTP access then I sugest you are running custom firmware. You need to to go over to their forum to find out what  is going wrong.
