For troubleshooting reasons there needs to be a mechanism from absolute power off to be able to start a NAS with all third party apps, Twonky, iTunes, My Cloud, etc… disabled.
for for such troubleshooting the NAS can be started with the minimal options enabled. This would be the dashboard UI, FTP service, SAMBA servers, NFS service and AFP services operational. The user would then have to manually re-enable services.
The user can then re-enable each service one-by-one until the problem service is located.
