I bought the Passport to store pictures because my hard drive is full on my Macbook. Is it safe to back-up my hard drive to the Passport and then erase the pictures off my computer hard drive? I want to make sure as I back up routinely, that the pictures on the Passport are not erased. Thanks
NO!!! One copy is never safe. The boards here are full of people that have done that and then have a problem and are crying about their lost data. Buy a second external so you have at least 2 copies.
