Ive got a BUNCH of MP4’s that have the PROGRAM name (EPISODE 1 EPISODE 2 etc) Built into the metadata of a MP$, is there a BULK PROGRAM (batch) that can strip the METADATA out of a MP4 instead of doing it one by one ?
I DO HAVE FREE TEXT BLOCKS REPLACER but I use that to strip the title names out of the XML File…
These MP4’s do not yet have XML Files from the net…
I want it to show up as the NAME that the filename is called… aka… The Sheriff’s are Coming S04E01.mp4 right now built in its called EPISODE 1 (Im assuming if the NAME is stripped from the built in metadata of the MP4 it will revert to the filename…
thanks in advance !
just use mp3tag … http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
“strip” the embedded metadata from one MP4 … “save” tag … then “copy” tag … select all (of your mp4’s) … “paste” tag
it will take a while … because it will have to re-save all your MP4’s - minus the metadata
Thanks, I appreciate it !
Long time no talk joey… Can you please tell me what to put into the TWO boxes on te text replace editor to strip out all the metadata again (as I want the FILENAME to show up in the WDTV onscreeen the SAME as it does as the FILENAME…
