Product Replacement for End Users

My book ex. hard drive is suddenly not working. It makes weird noice (sound like clicking noice, very lound.) I try all kind of intruction to fix it. But no help. I want to use the warranty to replacement a new hard drive from WD. For the reason, I click others. They make me pay for shipping?? Should it be free shipping.?? I email them, but it been a few days and no reply or answer from them.
