Hello, I can not find my product code to install the My Cloud home. Er is no number on the device that fits.
Can somebody help me?

The following is from the User Manual.
Note: If your My Cloud Home device is not automatically detected, follow these 4 steps: 1. Press the Enter Your Device Code option noted below the Desktop App and Mobile App options. 2. Enter the Security Code from the Quick Install Guide that came with the My Cloud Home device. The Security Code is also on the barcode label on the bottom of the unit. 3. After entering the security code, Press Search. 4. The One More Thing dialog box opens, Press Continue.
I also can’t find my Product Code on my Home NAS. The User Manual posted doesn’t have it, and on the actual unit, it isn’t there either. This shouldn’t be so difficult.
You have piggy backed on an old topic, four years old. The My Cloud Home is not an NAS but a Personal Cloud Storage (PCS).
So what? I care little about the terminology, and even less about non-answers.
