Hello Everyone, I want to see if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it. I had no problems networking my WD My Book with Windows 7, so I can stream movies to my Boxee Box, but when I installed Windows 8, I lost the ability to stream it. I am able to see the notebook as an external drive via my “computer”, but I keep getting a windows message popping up asking me if recognize the WD My Book and allow it to network. I keep hitting “Yes”, but the same box keeps popping up, and I do not know how to stop it. Some how Windows 8 changed something with allows me to network my WD My Book, I even updated the firmware for my WD, but that did not good.
Any assistance would be appreciated
