Problems with video playback

Hello, I recently bought a My Bok Essential 3TB USB 3 HDD, I use it to storage video files and obviously to reproduce them, but I’ve noticed that sometimes this doesnt work quite right because when Im watching a video the playback stops for a minute then starts again, this is very annoying and it only happens when im reproducing files from the HDD.

Any idea how to fix this?.
