Problems with registering faulty products for return

Has anyone else had problems with the WD site for product returns?  Seems like the site is designed to frustrate people to the point that they give up trying to return a product.

I bought 7 Red hard drives and one has failed. The procees should be simple - register the serial No and then submit an RMA to get the product replaced under warrantry.  Problem is the site wont let me register the serial Nos therfore I cant raise an RMA therefore I cannot return the drive.

Seems like a very good way of getting out of warranty claims.

What error do you get when registering the drive?

Have you contacted support either by email or over the phone?
