Problems with lag when playing mkv files

Hey all.

Hope u can help me.

My Tv live box works fine, but when I play mkv files from my usb hd it lags. The picture freezes for about 10-15 sec.  then the sound comes and the picture plays twice normal speed to catch up to the sound like it is trying to sync. it happens several times during a movie.

Its the latest firmware I have, so hope u can help me on my way to fix the problem. The Mkv is bluray

does this happens with all MKV files?

Or with the same files from another stick/HDD?

Yes it happens with all mkv files… There were no problems in the beginning it hads happend after the softwareupdate.

It would be nice with a solution, after what I can read on the web its not an unknown issue.

It also does it with other hd.

…There hasn’t been an update for these boxes in almost a year-- are you sure you have the device pictured at the top of the forum section?
