Problems opeing files via cloud access

When I login to with my credentials I canm then see “My Shares” and open them in Explorer. After doin so in explorer I see all the documents and folders. I can copy documents onto my desktop and open them. When I try to open a document directly from the explorer (so directly from the mycloud device) I get the following message:

The server wdmyclould.device.758101.wd2go at device user rquires a username and password

I enter my user information again but it does not work. It keeps starting to open the document but when then stops again to ask for credentials. Is there something I am missing?

I’m guessing this is happening on Microsoft Office documents?

If so, the WebDAV authentication doesn’t support office docs. 

You’ll want to try the WD My Cloud desktop app instead of the website.
