Problem with VBR audio track

Hi, I have a movie with a VBR audio track .  When I play the movie, after a few seconds the audio drops out.  When this happens it seems to put the WDTV into a bit of a spin because after that point whatever file I choose to play I get a “this format is not supported” message.  It takes a power disconnect to get things playing again.

When I attempt to play the same movie again - same result.

I do recall reading something about the WDTV having issues with VBR audio tracks.  Assuming other WDTV’ers have encountered this issue, what’s the workaround?

Thanks

Dave

Nah, I’ve never heard that…

After all, there’s a BUNCH of VBR in movie audio…

I don’t. I also have nothing but VBR tracks and all of them play back just fine.
